India will host the World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA) in October 2024, marking the first time this significant International Telecommunication Union (ITU) conference will take place in the country, with over 190 countries expected to participate.
The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has initiated outreach sessions in major cities to engage students and discuss future telecom developments, alongside launching the 5G-6G Hackathon 2024 aimed at fostering innovation tailored to India’s unique communication needs.
