The latest "India Web3 Landscape" report from Hashed Emergent revealed that the country recorded the highest year-over-year (YoY) growth in developer participation in 2024, with over 4.7 million developers joining GitHub.
According to the report, India is rapidly emerging as a global leader in the Web3 space and is expected to become the world's largest Web3 developer hub by 2028.
This accounts for 17 percent of all new Web3 developers globally, making India the second largest crypto developer base in the world.
