At the 16th Asian Shooting Championship in Shymkent, Kazakhstan, Indian shooters delivered a historic performance by winning double gold in the Men’s 25-meter Standard Pistol events. Veteran Olympian Gurpreet Singh won his maiden international gold in the individual category, with Amanpreet Singh bagging silver. Along with Harsh Gupta, the trio also clinched gold in the team event. India’s junior shooters also excelled, winning gold medals in the 50m Rifle Prone Junior Team and 25m Standard Pistol Junior Team categories.
