  • In February 2025, the gross GST collection was ₹1.84 lakh crore, reflecting a growth of 9.1% on a year-on-year basis, although it is lower than January 2025's ₹1.96 lakh crore. Domestic GST revenue grew by 10.2%, while import GST increased by 5.4%. 
  • The total GST collection from April to February FY25 was ₹20.13 lakh crore, while the net GST was ₹17.79 lakh crore. The strong GST performance reduced the fiscal deficit to 4.8%, with the 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' policy and domestic consumption playing a crucial role.
