  • India's first 'Vande Metro' train has been renamed 'NaMo India Rapid Rail', which was virtually inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Bhuj railway station on 16 September.
  • This 'NaMo India Rapid Rail' will cover the distance of 359 km from Bhuj to Ahmedabad in 5 hours 45 minutes, and the train will stop at 9 stations. This service will start for the common people from September 17.
