  • India has maintained its third-place ranking in the EY Renewable Energy Country Attractiveness Index.
  • The top three rankings are still held by the United States, mainland China, and India, with Indonesia being a new entrant to the RECAI.
  • The 2021 RECAI ranks the top 40 global markets (nations) in terms of the attractiveness of their renewable energy investment and deployment opportunities.
  • In this edition of RECAI, a new PPA Index focuses on the attractiveness of renewable power procurement and ranks the growth potential of a country's corporate PPA market. India ranks sixth out of the top 30 PPA markets.
