India has maintained its third-place ranking in the EY Renewable Energy Country Attractiveness Index.
The top three rankings are still held by the United States, mainland China, and India, with Indonesia being a new entrant to the RECAI.
The 2021 RECAI ranks the top 40 global markets (nations) in terms of the attractiveness of their renewable energy investment and deployment opportunities.
In this edition of RECAI, a new PPA Index focuses on the attractiveness of renewable power procurement and ranks the growth potential of a country's corporate PPA market. India ranks sixth out of the top 30 PPA markets.
