An Indian delegation led by Minister of State for Women and Child Development, Smt. Savitri Thakur, reaffirmed India’s commitment to inclusive and rights-based social development at the 64th Session of the UN Commission for Social Development. She said India’s social justice framework is rooted in constitutional guarantees and aligned with the vision of “Viksit Bharat 2047”. Highlighting initiatives in education, healthcare, financial inclusion, social security, and digital public infrastructure, India stressed last-mile delivery and global cooperation to ensure no one is left behind.
