Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has launched a "Nuclear Mission" to meet its rising energy demands with clean and sustainable power. The target is to generate 100 GW of nuclear energy by 2047, which will contribute 10% of the country's total energy needs.
The government has opened up the nuclear energy sector to private companies for the first time. This historic decision aims to boost investment and innovation, allowing private firms to contribute to nuclear power development.

India will establish four advanced quantum fabrication hubs worth ₹720 crore to boost quantum innovation and strengthen technological self-reliance.
