India and Norway held their first-ever Maritime Security, Disarmament and Non-Proliferation Dialogue in Oslo, strengthening strategic cooperation in maritime security and arms control. The Indian delegation was led by Joint Secretary Muanpuii Saiawi, while Norway’s delegation was headed by Jon Elvedal Fredriksen. Discussions focused on maintaining a safe maritime environment, countering smuggling and piracy, protecting critical infrastructure, and advancing disarmament and non-proliferation cooperation.
