According to the second advance estimates of the Ministry of Agriculture, India has achieved a record food grain production in the 2024-25 session.
The Kharif food grain production is 16.6391 million tonnes, while the Rabi production (excluding summer crops) is 16.4527 million tonnes.
The wheat production has reached an all-time high of 11.5430 million tonnes, which is higher than last year's 11.3292 million tonnes.
The Kharif rice production has remarkably increased to 12.0679 million tonnes, while maize production has also increased.
India's wheat production has reached a record 11.5430 million tonnes, with an increase of 0.7420 million tonnes in Kharif rice production compared to last year.
