Information and Broadcasting Secretary Apurva Chandra will hold the additional charge of Secretary in the Department of Telecommunications.
The Department of Personnel and Training has approved the transfer of additional charge of the post of Secretary, Department of Telecommunications to Mr. Chandra till K. Rajaraman relinquishes the charge of the post and appointment of a regular office-bearer
In August 2021, Chandra took over as a secretary in the I&B ministry.
Chandra holds a bachelor's degree in engineering, and has a Masters in Structural Engineering from IIT Delhi
