  • Hockey India has introduced comprehensive courses focusing on the education and development of budding coaches and match officials, recognising their key role in shaping the future of Indian hockey.
  • The initiative includes various regional level courses for technical officials and umpires, providing necessary guidance and support to accelerate their development. Eligible candidates will get an opportunity to participate in the Sub Junior and Junior Level Zonal National Championships sanctioned by Hockey India.
  • Hockey India President Dilip Tirkey emphasised on the importance of focusing on grassroots development and providing opportunities to aspirants to grow in their careers. Additionally, Hockey India is conducting the Hockey India Technical Representative and Umpire Manager Course in New Delhi to deepen the understanding of the FIH rules and regulations governing their roles.
