  • Indian captain Harmanpreet Singh and senior goalkeeper Savita Punia won the Hockey India Balbir Singh Senior Player of the Year award in the men's and women's categories respectively. 
  • In men's hockey, Harmanpreet led India to its second consecutive bronze medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics, and he was also part of the bronze medal-winning team at the Tokyo Games. 
  • Savita Punia won the Hockey India Baljeet Singh Goalkeeper of the Year award for the third time. 
  • The 1975 men's World Cup-winning team was honored with the Hockey India Major Dhyan Chand Lifetime Achievement Award.
