Indian captain Harmanpreet Singh and senior goalkeeper Savita Punia won the Hockey India Balbir Singh Senior Player of the Year award in the men's and women's categories respectively.
In men's hockey, Harmanpreet led India to its second consecutive bronze medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics, and he was also part of the bronze medal-winning team at the Tokyo Games.
Savita Punia won the Hockey India Baljeet Singh Goalkeeper of the Year award for the third time.
The 1975 men's World Cup-winning team was honored with the Hockey India Major Dhyan Chand Lifetime Achievement Award.
