Indian drag-flickers Gurjit Kaur and Harmanpreet Singh won the women's and men's Player of the Year trophies, respectively, at the International Hockey Federation's (FIH) Hockey Stars Awards 2020/21.
PR Sreejesh and Savita Punia won the men's and women's honours respectively for Goalkeeper of the Year while Graham Reid and Sjoerd Marijne won the coach's awards for men and women respectively.
At the Tokyo Olympics this year, the Indian men's hockey team upset Germany 5-4 to win bronze, ending a 41-year drought for the country in the sport.
