Category : State Published on: December 30 2025
After more than three decades, Gujarat has regained its status as a tiger-present state, with the National Tiger Conservation Authority confirming a tiger’s presence in Ratanmahal Wildlife Sanctuary, Dahod. Gujarat will be included in the 2026 national tiger census, marking a major conservation milestone and making it the only state where lions, tigers and leopards coexist.
A second effusive eruption began at Piton de la Fournaise on La Réunion on February 13, with lava flowing down the Grandes Pentes slopes.
