  • Rahul Bhave has been appointed as the Managing Director and CEO of IFCI for a three-year term, following approval by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), chaired by the Prime Minister.
  • Bhavesh, who is working as the Deputy Managing Director, has been appointed as MD and CEO for a period of three years from the date of assuming office. 
  • This appointment has been approved by the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) chaired by the Prime Minister. 
  • The Industrial Finance Corporation of India (IFCI) was established by the government on July 1, 1948, as the country's first development financial institution.
