  • Ashwani Kumar will lead the public sector bank for period of three years from 1 June 2023
  • Ashwani Kumar brings with him a wealth of experience, having served in various capacities across five public sector banks (PSBs) throughout his career
  • He has worked at Bank of Baroda, Corporation Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Punjab National Bank (PNB), and most recently, Indian Bank.
  • Kumar's expertise spans multiple domains, including wholesale banking and branch management, including Industrial Finance Branches and Licensed Commercial Banks (LCBs).
