Govt appoints Ashwani Kumar as MD & CEO of UCO Bank

Ashwani Kumar will replace Soma Sankara Prasad as the MD & CEO of UCO Bank.
Ashwani Kumar will lead the public sector bank for period of three years from 1 June 2023
Ashwani Kumar brings with him a wealth of experience, having served in various capacities across five public sector banks (PSBs) throughout his career
He has worked at Bank of Baroda, Corporation Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Punjab National Bank (PNB), and most recently, Indian Bank.
Kumar's expertise spans multiple domains, including wholesale banking and branch management, including Industrial Finance Branches and Licensed Commercial Banks (LCBs).
