According to the recent announcement of the Central Government, it will establish 'Women's Courts' in all the states in a phased manner under Mission Shakti.
This effect was announced by Union Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani.
In the first phase, the State of Assam and the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir have been selected by the Ministry to implement the component of Nari Adalat.
This court will be established in 2 districts of Jammu and Kashmir.
Nari Adalat will be established in 7 districts of Assam.
The Central Government is implementing Mission Shakti Yojana for the safety, security and empowerment of women.
The Government is committed to accelerating women-led development by addressing issues affecting women and making them equal partners in nation building.
