Former Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Mizoram and Uttarakhand Aziz Qureshi passed away at a hospital in Bhopal after prolonged illness.
He was 82.
Qureshi was elected MLA from Sehore in 1972 and later became a Lok Sabha MP from Satna in 1984. He was also appointed as the President of Madhya Pradesh Urdu Academy.
