Former Supreme Court judge AM Khanwilkar was sworn in as Lokpal chairperson.
President Droupadi Murmu administered the oath of office to Khanwilkar as the chairperson of Lokpal.
Khanwilkar had served as a Supreme Court judge from May 13, 2016, to July 29, 2022.
He was appointed as the chairperson of the anti-corruption ombudsman last month.
Khanwilkar was sworn in as Lokpal chairperson, filling the post after nearly two years fell vacant.
