Kumudben Manishankar Joshi, the former Governor of Andhra Pradesh has passed away. She was 88.
Ms. Joshi served as the Governor of Andhra Pradesh from 26 November 1985 to 7 February 1990.
She was also the second woman governor of the state of Andhra Pradesh after Sharda Mukherjee.
Ms. Joshi had also been a member of Rajya Sabha thrice.
