  • Finland has been declared the happiest country in the world for the eighth consecutive time in the United Nations World Happiness Report 2025. 
  • This country has again achieved the top position with an average score of 7.7/10. 
  • Other Nordic countries like Norway, Iceland, and Sweden also remain in the top 10. In this list of 147 countries, India ranks 118th. 
  • Last time our (India's) ranking was 126th. According to the report, Afghanistan remains the saddest country.
