Finland has been declared the happiest country in the world for the eighth consecutive time in the United Nations World Happiness Report 2025.
This country has again achieved the top position with an average score of 7.7/10.
Other Nordic countries like Norway, Iceland, and Sweden also remain in the top 10. In this list of 147 countries, India ranks 118th.
Last time our (India's) ranking was 126th. According to the report, Afghanistan remains the saddest country.
