Bhushan Gagrani has been appointed as the Commissioner of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) by the Election Commission of India.
The upcoming general elections in Maharashtra will be conducted in five phases, covering a total of 48 constituencies.
Saurabh Rao is set to assume the role of the civic chief of Thane, while Kailash Shinde will be appointed as the civic chief of Navi Mumbai.
