  • The Election Commission of India has announced the date of Lok Sabha Election 2024 on March 16, 2024. The elections will be held in 7 phases and voting will be held from April 19 to June 1. The results will be declared on June 4.
  • Election Commission implements model code of conduct.
  • Elections will be held in 102 constituencies in the first phase, 89 in the second, 94 in the third phase, 96 in the fourth, 49 in the fifth, 57 in the sixth and 57 constituencies in the seventh phase.
  • In this general election, representatives will be elected from all 543 constituencies across the country.
