  • Dr. Mayank Sharma, an IDAS officer of the 1989 batch, assumed office as the Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA) on March 1, 2025, bringing with him over three decades of experience in government service. 
  • Dr. Sharma has represented India at various global forums, including the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the International Anti-Corruption Academy, and the Diplomatic Academy in Vienna, while also serving as the head of the Consular Division at the Indian Embassy in Vienna.
