  • The Dominica Commonwealth will confer its highest national award, the Dominica Award of Honour, to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in recognition of his contribution to Dominica during the COVID-19 pandemic and his dedication towards strengthening the partnership between India and Dominica.
  • The President of the State of Dominica honours individuals who have rendered commendable service in the development of the Dominica Commonwealth. 
  • Every President of Dominica is also given this honor. 
  • The award will be presented by Dominica President Sylvanie Burton.
