Vervesemi Microelectronics, a startup supported under the Design Linked Incentive (DLI) Scheme and Chips to Startup (C2S) programme, has raised $10 million in a Series A round led by Ashish Kacholia and Unicorn India Ventures, with participation from Roots Ventures, Caperize Fina, and MAIQ Growth Scheme.
Founded in 2017, Vervesemi holds over 140 semiconductor IPs, 25 chip variants, 10 patents, and 5 trade secrets, developing chips for BLDC motors, EVs, drones, avionics, space, energy metering, and industrial automation. The company has successfully fabricated several chips, including RISC-V-based motor controllers and data acquisition chips for space applications, demonstrating India’s growing design-led semiconductor capabilities.
