Divya Deshmukh, India's newest Woman Grand Master, was crowned First Grandmaster in Budapest, Hungary.
Divya earned her first WGM norm at the Velammal International Women Round Robin Tournament in 2018, and her second at the Aeroflot Open in 2019.
She earned five points out of nine rounds and a rating performance of 2452 to secure her third and final WGM-norm.
