The postal department has announced the issuance of a commemorative postage stamp in honor of the 1009th birth anniversary of the renowned saint, social reformer, and devoted mother of Lord Krishna, Mata Karma.
She is depicted offering khichdi to Lord Krishna with the prestigious Jagannath Temple in the background.
Mata Karma's life symbolizes social harmony, women's empowerment, and religious devotion, and this stamp has been issued by India Post to preserve her legacy.
