  • The Delhi Police has launched a squad called 'Shistachar' to prevent harassment, with at least 30 teams deployed in the national capital, especially at sensitive locations. 
  • Its aim is to curb incidents of harassment and ensure the safety of women in public spaces. 
  • This squad will operate as joint teams of male and female officers, who will carry out patrolling, respond quickly to complaints, and raise awareness about anti-harassment laws.
