The Delhi Police has launched a squad called 'Shistachar' to prevent harassment, with at least 30 teams deployed in the national capital, especially at sensitive locations.
Its aim is to curb incidents of harassment and ensure the safety of women in public spaces.
This squad will operate as joint teams of male and female officers, who will carry out patrolling, respond quickly to complaints, and raise awareness about anti-harassment laws.
