Soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo has become the highest paid athlete in the world, with a move to Al-Nassr nearly doubling his salary, according to Forbes.
Ronaldo joined the Saudi Arabian club in January after leaving Manchester United last year.

It is followed by Lionel Messi in second place with 130 million US dollars. Forbes calculates earnings estimates based on prize money, salaries, bonuses and sponsorship deals.
His on-field earnings are $46 million and off-field earnings are $90 million.
Forbes' on-field earnings figures include all prize money, salaries and bonuses earned between May 1, 2022, and May 1, 2023.
