  • The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced a cash prize of ₹58 crore to honor the team's victory in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. 
  • Under the leadership of captain Rohit Sharma, India recorded significant wins against Bangladesh, Pakistan, New Zealand, and Australia before defeating New Zealand in the final. 
  • This amount will be distributed among players, coaching staff, support staff, and the selection committee headed by Ajit Agarkar. 
  • However, the board has not yet clarified how much each individual will receive. Additionally, the ICC also awarded the team ₹20 crore.
