  • Recently a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of education has been signed between India and the United Arab Emirates.
  • Under this agreement, India's Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will open its office in UAE.
  • This office will be opened in Abu Dhabi.
  • This was announced by India's Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan during his visit to the United Arab Emirates.
  • CBSE is the second Indian educational institution to open its office/academic institution in the UAE.
  • Before this I.I.T. Delhi has established its campus in UAE.
