In Bihar, the capital city Patna is all set to host two days G-20 Labour Engagement summit on 22nd and 23rd June.
The Arts and Culture Department of the State is the nodal agency for this mega event, which will witness participation of around 180 delegates of G20 member countries.
The host-state Bihar will also represent it's initiatives and reforms in different sectors during the summit.
The G20 Summit is held annually under the leadership of a rotating presidency. India assumed the presidency of G20 from Indonesia for one year – December 1, 2022 to November 30, 2023.
The G20 presidency steers the G20 agenda for one year and hosts the summit.
Altogether, 200 G20 meetings will be held in over 50 locations across the length and breadth of the country during the year.
