The Caribbean country Barbados honored India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi with its highest national award, the 'Honorary Order of Freedom of Barbados,' for his strategic leadership and invaluable support during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The award was received on behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi by India's Minister of State for External Affairs, Pabitra Marguerita, at a ceremony held in Bridgetown, Barbados.
This honor underscores the deepening ties between India and Barbados, as well as our shared commitment to cooperation and development, especially during times of crisis.
