Veteran Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has achieved yet another major milestone and has become the first bowler in the history of the World Test Championship (WTC) to bag 100 wickets.
The 35-year-old achieved this sensational landmark in the second match of the two-match Test series against the Sri Lanka National Cricket Team at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, where India registered a dominant 238 runs victory.
Also, Ashwin, during the pink-ball Test match against Sri Lanka, went past legendary pacer Dale Steyn to become the 8th highest wicket-taker in the history of Test cricket.
