She is a resident of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.
Annu Rani has recently won the gold medal in the ongoing Asian Games in China.
Annu Rani has become the first female Indian player to win a gold medal in javelin throw.
Annu Rani threw 69.92 meters.
Nadeesha Dilhan of Sri Lanka won the silver medal.
