Andhra Pradesh Wins National Energy Conservation Award for Fourth Consecutive Year

Andhra Pradesh has secured the prestigious National Energy Conservation Award 2025 for the fourth consecutive year, highlighting its leadership in energy efficiency. The State topped Group II with 89.25 points in the State Energy Efficiency Index (SEEI–2025), excelling across buildings, industry, municipal services, agriculture, DISCOMs, and transport. Coordinated policy initiatives, institutional frameworks, and sector-specific energy-saving measures under the AP State Energy Conservation Mission have driven this achievement, reinforcing Andhra Pradesh’s role as a national leader in sustainable energy practices.
