The Government of India has appointed Ajay Bhadu as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) effective March 3, 2025. He will also hold this position alongside his current responsibilities as Additional Secretary in the Department of Commerce.
Ajay Bhadu's appointment comes at a time when the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) is being transformed into a next-generation digital marketplace operated by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).
