A NITI Aayog report, "AI for Viksit Bharat", projects that faster AI adoption across industries could add $500-600 billion (₹44-53 lakh crore) to India’s GDP by 2035. With its large STEM workforce, expanding R&D, and digital capabilities, India can capture 10-15% of the global AI value pool.
