Adidas has appointed Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone as its brand ambassador to promote women's sportswear globally.
Deepika Padukone joins a powerful list of female athletes and sportspersons from around the world who will focus on democratising and diversifying sports for women, according to Adidas.
Padukone, daughter of badminton player Prakash Padukone, has also played this game at the national level. Sunil Gupta, Senior Director, Brand Adidas (India) said, “As a global youth icon and an advocate of mental health and personal well-being, Deepika fits in beautifully with the brand’s ambition to drive positive change through sports and movement.
