On 22 September 2025, the 28th National e-Governance Conference (NCeG) commenced in Visakhapatnam, jointly organised by the Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances (DARPG), Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY) and the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The theme of this year’s conference was “Viksit Bharat: Citizen Services and Digital Transformation”, focusing on digital innovation for better governance. The event was inaugurated by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh, with key sessions on AI-enabled services, cyber security, e-governance in agriculture, and citizen-centric digital solutions. During the conference, 19 National e-Governance Awards 2025 were presented to outstanding projects across central, state, district, and local levels.
