DSSSB or Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board conducts recruitment exams for various positions under several divisions/departments of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi's (GNCT Delhi). Every year, the DSSSB board issues an official notification announcing various vacancies for various positions. DSSSB recruiting exams are held to fill vacancies in DoE and MCD departments for the positions of Assistant Teacher (Primary) and Assistant Teacher (Nursery). A total of 628 vacancies have been released for the DSSSB Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2021.  Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria can apply online for DSSSB Assistant Teacher (Primary and Nursery) by using the official website. For the DSSSB Assistant Teacher (Primary and Nursery) 2021 exam, applicants should not exceed the ages of 30 years. The DSSSB Assistant Teacher (Primary and Nursery) is only One Tier examination process. The One Tier examination is divided into two Sections:  Sections A and Section B. Candidates who passed the one-tier examination will be considered for the DSSSB Assistant Teacher (Primary and Nursery) positions.     Eligibility Criteria

    Essential Educational Qualifications:

    (A) For DSSSB Assistant Teacher (Primary) - [Post Code: 42/21 & Department Name: Directorate of Education]

    (I) Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with a minimum of 50 percent marks and a two-year diploma in elementary education (under whatever name it is known) from a recognised Board. OR

    • According to the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) regulations-2002, a Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50 percent marks and two-years Diploma in elementary education (under whatever name it is known). OR

    • Senior secondary (or it's equivalent) with a minimum of 50 percent marks and a four-year bachelor's degree of elementary education. OR

    • Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50 percent marks and a two-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) from a recognised Board. OR

    • Graduation and two-years Diploma in elementary education (under whatever name it is known) from a recognized Board.

    (II) Pass the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) administered by the CBSE or Central Board of Secondary Education. 

    (III) At the secondary level, candidates must have passed Hindi or Urdu or Punjabi, or English as a subject.

     

    (B) For DSSSB Assistant Teacher (Nursery) - [Post Code: 43/21 & Department: Directorate of Education]

    (I) Intermediate or Senior Secondary School (Class 12th) certificate or its equivalent from a recognised Board/university with at least 45 percent marks.

    (II) A two-year diploma/certificate programme in nursery teacher education or a B.Ed. (Nursery) from a recognised institute. 

    (III) At the secondary level, candidates must have passed Hindi as a subject.

     

    (C) For DSSSB Assistant Teacher (Primary) - [Post Code: 47/21 & Department: New Delhi Municipal Council]

    (I) A 12th class pass from a recognised board with a minimum of 50 percent marks (5 percent relaxation in the case of SC/ST).

    (II) Two years Diploma in primary education or certificate course in ETE/JBT/DIET/B.El.Ed. from a recognized institution.

    (III) In the 10th class, candidates must have passed Hindi as a subject.

    (IV) The candidate must have passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test, which will be administered by the appropriate government in accordance with NCTE norms.

     

    Age limit:

    The age limit of the applicants should be not exceeding 30 Years.

    Important Note:

    I. The questions on the papers will be of the objective type.

    II. Each question will be carried one mark.

    III. Each incorrect answer will 0.25 marks deduction.

    IV. Except for the Language papers, all examination questions will be bilingual (Hindi and English).

    V. Applicants for the post-codes 42/21, 43/21, and 47/21 must meet the minimum qualifying marks in Sections A and B according to their category (UR/OBC/SC/ST/PH/Ex-Serviceman). However, the final merit will be calculated using the combined scores from sections A and B.

               

    Eligibility Criteria for Qualifying:

    Minimum percentage of marks required for eligibility in various categories:

    • UR - 40 percent

    • OBC - 35 percent

    • SC/ ST/ PH - 30 percent

     

    • Ex-Servicemen will be given 5% relaxation in their respective categories subject to a minimum of 30 percent.

    Fee Payable by Candidates for DSSSB Assistant Teacher (Primary and Nursery) Exam:

    Women, Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, Persons with Disabilities, and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from paying the application fees.

     

    Mode of Payment:

    Candidates who submit their applications online should only use SBI e-pay to pay the required fees.

     

    • Other methods of payment will not be considered, and such candidates' applications will be automatically rejected, with all payments made forfeited.

    'Click for New Registration button' should be clicked.

    Enter your name, date of birth, class 10th roll number, and passing year, as well as the names of your parents/spouse, email address, mobile number, gender, nationality, and registration password.

    Read the undertaking, then check the box at the bottom of the page and click Submit.

    Make a note of the DSSSB registration number as well as the password.

    Candidates must then log in to their registered accounts using their username, password, and the code that appears on the screen.

    Select a category and enter your current and permanent addresses.

    Check the Declaration box and then click Submit.

    Upload scanned pictures of your photo, signature, left thumb impression, and right thumb impression in the dimensions given.

    Click the Insert button after entering the qualification, discipline, board/university name, percentage obtained, and passing month and year.

    Select the "Final Save" button.

    Click Next after entering the desired educational details and experience, if applicable.

    To submit your final application, click the Submit Final Application button.

    After completing the application form, candidates must pay the application fee online (through SBI e-pay) for the position they are applying for.
