The Rajasthan Police Subordinate Service Rules has issued a job advertisement for the Police Constable 2021 in the Rajasthan Police Department. A total of 4438 vacancies for the Posts of Rajasthan Police Constable (General), Constable Band, Constable Tele-com, and Constable Driver were announced.
To be eligible for this Rajasthan Police Constable recruitment, candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 23 and have passed calls 10th or 12th or its equivalent from a recognized institute or university.

Essential Educational Qualifications for Rajasthan Police Constable:
(A) Constable GD
• Senior Secondary or Class XII or equivalent examination passed from recognized School/Exam Board.
(B) RAC/ MBC Battalion Band
• 10th class pass from recognized school/board.
(C) Police Constable (Telecom)
• Senior Secondary or Class XII or equivalent examination passed in Science with Physics and Mathematics/ Computer from a recognized Board.
• To be eligible for the post of constable driver, the applicant must have a permanent driving license (LMV/ HMV) made for at least one year before the date of issue of the notification.
**Candidate should have practical knowledge of Hindi writing in Devanagari script and knowledge of the culture of Rajasthan.**

Important Note:
1. If SC / ST candidates are not available for the general area according to the above-mentioned physical parameters, then they will have a height and chest height of 5 cms exempted will be payable.
2. For the candidates of hilly and tribal areas, there will be criteria under Rule-14(2) of the Rajasthan Police Subordinate Services Rules, 1989.
3. The minimum height prescribed for all female candidates is 152 cms. No exemption will be admissible.
Efficiency Test (Constable Driver and Band)
• Candidates for the position of constable driver/band who have completed the physical efficiency exam and measurement will be subjected to an efficiency test worth 30 marks.
Eligibility Criteria for Qualifying:
Minimum percentage of marks required for eligibility in various categories:
• UR/ EBC/ OBC/ MBC - 40 percent

SC/ ST - 30 percent
Marks obtained in the proficiency test will be included for the final selection.

Medical Standards
• Candidate should have minimum near vision N6 (better eye) and N9 (worst eye), both eyes must have far vision 6 (better eye) and 6 (worse eye).
• Candidate should be mentally aware, of sound health, and free from all physical disorders, defects, diseases. The candidate should not suffer from mental illness.
• The candidate should not have colliding knees, nerve puffiness, squint, night blindness, a squint in eyes, color vision defect, stuttering, flat feet, hernia, surgical problem, or any other deformity/mutilation that interferes with duty performance.
