  • 2022 टी 20 विश्व कप के दूसरे सेमीफाइनल में 40 गेंदों में 50 रन बनाकर, विराट कोहली 4000 टी 20 रन का आंकड़ा पार करने वाले पहले बल्लेबाज बन गए है।
  • एडिलेड ओवल में बल्लेबाजी करते हुए, कोहली ने ब्रायन लारा  के रिकॉर्ड को  भी पीछे छोड़ते हुए एडिलेड ओवल में सबसे अधिक रन बनाने वाले विदेशी बल्लेबाज बन गए है।
  • लारा ने आयोजन स्थल पर 15 पारियों में 940 रन बनाए थे जबकि कोहली ने अपनी 15वीं पारी में 950 रन का आंकड़ा पार किया है।
