Uttar Pradesh government will establish cyber police stations in 57 districts

  • According to the recent announcement, Uttar Pradesh will set up cyber police stations in 57 districts.
  • This announcement was made in the state cabinet meeting.
  • Cyber police stations are already present in 18 divisional headquarters in Uttar Pradesh.
  • With the opening of cyber police stations in these 57 districts, now there will be cyber police stations in all 75 districts of the state.
  • Till now I.G. level officers look after these police stations.
  • After the establishment of cybercrime stations in all the districts, officers of the rank of Superintendent of Police will take over its responsibility.
