Recently, the Uttar Pradesh government has presented a supplementary budget of Rs 28,760 crore in the Assembly.
This budget was presented in the Assembly by Uttar Pradesh Finance Minister Suresh Khanna.
In the supplementary budget, expenditure on revenue account is Rs 19,046 crore and expenditure on capital account is Rs 9,714 crore.
Rs 50 crore have been allocated for Ayodhya Conservation and Development Fund.
Rs 100 crore has been given for 'Ramotsav' 2023-24.
Rs 25 crore has been allocated for the development and expansion of the International Ramayana and Vedic Research Institute in Ayodhya.
The power sector received the largest share with an allocation of over Rs 10,000 crore.
