Recently India has approved Migration and Movement Agreement with Italy

The Union Cabinet has recently approved the Migration and Movement Agreement with Italy.
This agreement was signed by India's External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and Italy's Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani in November 2023.
According to this agreement, Indian students wishing to gain experience after completing academic/vocational training in Italy can be allowed temporary residence in Italy for up to 12 months.
Italy has extensive provisions relating to vocational training, extra-curricular internships and curricular internships.
These provide an opportunity for Indian students to gain exposure to Italian skill standards.
This agreement will be applicable for 5 years from the date of approval.
This Agreement will automatically renew for equal successive periods unless terminated by either party.
