  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched and inaugurated health sector projects worth Rs 12,850 crore in New Delhi on Dhanwantari Jayanti and 9th Ayurveda Day, including extended Ayushman Bharat coverage for all senior citizens aged 70 years and above.
  • Mr Modi will inaugurate the second phase expansion of India's first All India Institute of Ayurveda, open new medical colleges and lay the foundation stone for health facilities, nursing colleges and critical care blocks in several states to boost national healthcare infrastructure.
