The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) is conducting the MP Police Constable Recruitment 2026 (Advt No. 583/2026) to fill 7,500 General Duty (GD) vacancies.
Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
Duration: 2 hours (120 minutes).
Marking Scheme: 1 mark for each correct answer.
Negative Marking: No negative marking for incorrect answers.
Standard of Questions: Generally at the level of Class 8th or 10th.
Physical Standards Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

Overview
The MP Police Constable Recruitment 2026 is being conducted by MPESB to fill 7,500 General Duty vacancies across SAF (700 male-only posts) and Non-SAF/DEF (6,800 posts). Candidates who passed 10th class (8th class for MP ST) aged 18–33 years are eligible to apply between 22 September and 06 October 2026. Selection is based on a 100-mark Computer-Based Test (CBT) with no negative marking, followed by a 100-mark Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification, and Medical Exam. The CBT written examination commences on 19 November 2026.
